Jarrett re-opened his wound (see post below)...Thankfully the doctor didn't want to re-stitch (greater risk of infection??), which saved Jarrett more trauma; however, now the recovery will take much longer and there may be more scarring.

I'm so thankful he didn't need stitching again, as much as for you as for him. Funny how boys don't worry about scaring, mama's do. We try to keep our eyes on the future, not the momentary.
